We are a husband and wife team that raise and care for all of our dogs and horses together. We live on thirty acres in Knoxville, TN so there is plenty of room for all to run and play.
We were visiting friends in NC and their neighbor had a beautiful dog that was laying down in an icy stream to have a drink. He was having a great time!
I had to inquire what breed it was and decided then and there I was going to get one for us. It was a Golden Retriever and my search started over 20 years ago. We found a puppy and brought him home to love. He is still with us. He was 17 on April 25, 2008. He has all the signs of old age but he still gets around and never passes up a meal! *
Since then we have added several more wonderful Goldens to our family.

A few years back we were introduced to another beautiful pup. She had the longest eyelashes I had ever seen. We brought home with us and I had to keep calling our handler to ask what kind of dog she was as it was not a familiar breed to me. She is a German Wirehaired Pointer. What a ride she has taken us on. In 2006 she finished as the #1 Wire and only one of 3 bitches to win a Best in Show!
